California Rides

The Sierras and Lake Tahoe in Nevada and California provide bike riders with many great cycling challenges. My Nevada pages consist of rides that begin and end in Nevada however may include riding portions in California. The Peaks I have listed from Markleeville, (CA and others in the Sierra that I will include at a later time) are ridden entirely in California. The Sierras and Lake Tahoe provide a great deal of beautiful scenery. The rides as I have listed them are rather long but can be broke into shorter and less challenging section depending o a riders ability and desire. There are also plenty of Mountain bike trails in this area but I am a roadie so I have not mapped any of these areas. In California you can ride the coastline and flat areas of the wine country or some of the toughest mountains in the world depending upon your interests and abilities. Hopefully this site will give you some idea of the possibilities for riding in this area. As time goes by I will attempt to add more rides on all types of terrain and difficulty.
